On July 14, 2026, Mr. Mohammad Murad Arshad, Senior Vice President of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), held a meeting with representatives of the Pakistan Cutlery & Stainless Utensils Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PCSUMEA), Wazirabad.

On July 14, 2026, an Awareness Session on Export Credit Insurance (ECI) was held at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) by the Export-Import Bank of Pakistan (EXIM Bank). The EXIM Bank delegation, which included Mr. Faiz Muhammad Salman, Regional Business Manager - Central, and Mr. Muhammad Waqas Saleem, Relationship Manager was warmly welcomed by Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, President, SCCI; Mr. Salman Sheikh, Vice President, SCCI; and Mr. Akmal Javed, Chairman, Committee on Banking Affairs. The session highlighted EXIM Bank's mandate and its Export Credit Insurance (ECI) facility, which helps exporters mitigate risks associated with non-payment by foreign buyers, improves access to trade finance, and supports business expansion into international markets.

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the upcoming CAVA Nations Volleyball Championship 2026 and the FIVB U17 Volleyball World Championship 2026.

On July 10, 2026, Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, President of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), attended an online meeting with Mr. Muhammad Mohsin Rafiq, Chief Collector (Exports), and Ms. Beelam Ramzan, Collector of Customs, Sialkot, to discuss issues relating to the Export Facilitation Scheme (EFS).
