Good News for Exporters of Sialkot

The State Bank of Pakistan has notified the Government of Pakistan's Performance-Based Rebate on Incremental Exports (PRIE), effective from 1st July 2026, to incentivize exporters who grow their exports over the preceding fiscal year.

What you get:

Export growth of up to 10% over the last fiscal year → rebate of 1% of the incremental export value
Export growth of more than 10% → rebate of 2% of the incremental export value
No growth over last fiscal year → not eligible

Who can avail it: The scheme is open to all exporters, exporters of goods as well as exporters of services, Corporate and SME both.

Key points to note: ▪️ The rebate is paid in PKR, on the incremental exports only ▪️ It is determined on export proceeds realized in foreign exchange ▪️ The export year runs from 1st July to 30th June ▪️ Claims are filed quarterly through your bank; quarterly payments are provisional at 75% and are adjusted at the close of the fiscal year

How to apply: Exporters are required to nominate one designated bank, which will consolidate their export proceeds and submit the claim to the State Bank of Pakistan. Please contact your bank for the claim form, the detailed procedure, and the required documentation.

On 24 August 2026, Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, President, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), attended the prize distribution ceremony organized by the Old Boys Association, Government Pilot Secondary School Excellence Centre, Sialkot. The ceremony was held to appreciate and encourage the outstanding performance of students from different schools.

On 24 August 2026, Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, President, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), attended a ceremony for the distribution of marriage and death grant cheques among workers and labourers. The ceremony was attended by Punjab Provincial Minister for Labour & Human Resources Muhammad Manshaullah Butt, along with senior government officials and representatives.

The event highlighted the government’s initiatives for the welfare of workers and their families, including increased marriage and death grants.

On 22 August 2026, a Departmental Committee Meeting on Human Resource was held at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI).
