Business Facilitation Desk Open at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry

On October 12, 2026, a Business Facilitation Desk was established at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) on the directives of Mr. Awais Mushtaq, Deputy Commissioner Sialkot. The Desk was inaugurated by Mr. Saulat Hayat Watoo, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Enforcement & Headquarters), Sialkot, in the presence of Mr. Khawar Hussain Spall, President SCCI, Mr. Asad Naseer Malik, Senior Vice President, Chaudhry Jahangir Rashid, Vice President, and members of the SCCI Executive Committee. The Business Facilitation Desk aims to strengthen coordination between the business community and the relevant departments of the District Administration, providing SCCI members with a dedicated point of contact to address their queries and resolve business-related issues more efficiently. On this occasion, President SCCI Mr. Khawar Hussain Spall appreciated the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Sialkot and his team for establishing the Desk at the earliest. He expressed confidence that this initiative would help resolve business community issues through effective coordination, reduce unnecessary visits to multiple government offices, and improve access to relevant departments under the Deputy Commissioner's jurisdiction. He also appreciated Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab, for her efforts to engage district administrations across the province in improving public service delivery, facilitating the business community, removing procedural hurdles, and promoting the Ease of Doing Business.
