The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry assists its members in the amicable resolution of trade disputes arising with buyers, sellers, or other business partners in the course of local and international trade.
How SCCI Can Help
Members facing a genuine trade-related dispute may approach the Chamber for assistance and guidance.
Filing a Complaint
Affected members can submit a written complaint to the Chamber, along with supporting documentation such as invoices, correspondence, contracts, and any other evidence relevant to the dispute.
Review & Mediation
The Chamber reviews the matter and, where appropriate, facilitates communication between the concerned parties in an effort to reach an amicable, mutually acceptable settlement.
Office Bearers’ Involvement
Where required, the matter may be taken up with the President and Office Bearers of the Chamber, who can engage directly with the parties to help resolve the issue.
For Buyers
This facility is not limited to SCCI members. Local or foreign buyers who have a trade-related complaint against an SCCI member firm are also welcome to approach the Chamber.
Buyers & Overseas Clients
If you are a buyer, importer, or overseas client with a dispute involving an SCCI member exporter, you may write directly to the Chamber with details of the concerned firm, the nature of the dispute, and any supporting documents (invoices, contracts, correspondence, shipment records, etc.).
What Happens Next
The Chamber will review the complaint and take up the matter with the concerned member firm on your behalf, encouraging both sides to work toward a fair and amicable resolution.
This facility is intended to help members and buyers reach fair, good-faith resolutions and does not substitute for formal legal proceedings. For disputes that cannot be resolved amicably, parties are advised to pursue appropriate legal channels.
