October 26, 2021, Syed Wahaj Siraj, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder Nayatel, called on President, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry for a meeting to discuss avenues of cooperation and promotion of ICT Exports from the Industrial City of Sialkot. President, SCCI lauded the role of Nayatel in spearheading the tech revolution in Pakistan by providing cutting-edge Internet and Cloud and scores of other ICT services to the industry and the consumer market. The President Chamber said that Pakistan was making strides in domains of Software Exports, E-Commerce, and Freelancing and that the tech industry owed a great deal to high-speed internet providers like Nayatel. On the occasion, Mr. Akbar shared his vision for a bustling IT Industry in Sialkot apart from already established sectors. He was of the view that the talent of the youth of Sialkot should be channelized in this domain and that the IT graduates of the city should be given a platform to exploit the tremendous potential of the global IT market. On October 25, 2021, Departmental Committee on Crime Watch and Traffic Management, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry held its 1st meeting to discuss Traffic Management System and Law & Order situation of the city. Senior Vice President, SCCI emphasized on improving traffic safety laws and creating public information campaigns on road safety risks. Mr. Nasir Saleem Mirza, Chairman Committee said that all the departments related to this matter should be involved to design a Construction Site Traffic Management Plan (CSTMP) and the traffic police should be strengthen for safe and smooth traffic flows on roads.

Mr. Sheikh Zahid Hameed, Chairman, Cantonment Committee gave a presentation on projects initiated by the Cantonment committee to facilitate the Community and SCCI Members. Discussion was held to complete the existing projects as well as to take some new steps for further developments under the scope of this committee.
