We have been informed by Model Customs Collector, Sambrial, vide letter No: C.NO.II (22) Admin/Smb/Circular/2007/7515, dated: 26/05/2010 that S.R.O 337 (I) / 2010- in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) and (3) of section 98 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government has: -

1- Extend, up to the 30th June, 2010 the period for which warehoused goods may remain in the warehouse; and
 
2- Remit penal surcharge in the case of goods which are cleared from the warehouse within the period from the 20th May, 2010 to the 30th June, 2010.

Provided that this notification shall not apply to the goods which have since been abandoned or auctioned under the rules. The complete SRO may be downloaded from the website of FBR www.fbr.gv.pk.
